Chapter Five: Surprise

Bing Tong adjusted her hat, turned, and walked out, her face icy cold. Even her eyes seemed devoid of emotion.

Fate had it all! Bing Tong had actually run into Wei Yi at the classroom door. (Author: Is this what they call destiny? Tong: Get lost!) Wei Yi gave her a cold look and went into the classroom first. Bing Tong followed. Sitting in her seat, Bing Tong looked up at the sky outside, wondering: Would they worry if I left without a word? They probably would! After all, they doted on me so much. Sigh, Bing Tong sighed and fell asleep on her desk.
Until she heard a commotion outside: "Wow! What a spectacular scene! I wonder who they're here to pick up?" "I wish they were picking me up," a girl fantasized. "You? In your next life!" "A boy scoffed. Then, the two started arguing. Zi Yu and the others watched quietly from the sidelines, also curious; even the four great families probably didn't have such a large entourage. Bing Tong was awakened by their noise, stood up, looked in the direction they were looking, then frowned slightly, and walked past everyone down the stairs.
A moment later, everyone saw a girl walking towards the school gate, and this girl was none other than Bing Tong. "How could it be her! So surprising!" You Yun said, looking at Wei Yi beside him. "What is her identity? Why does she always wear a hat?" Xi'er asked. "We don't know either. Let's go back and check; her identity must be extraordinary." "Youyun answered her question, but his deep eyes remained fixed on Bingtong. When Bingtong reached the school gate, the men in suits standing on either side knelt down on one knee, surprising everyone.
Bingtong walked towards a car under their kneeling homage, and a gentlemanly man opened the door for her. Bingtong gracefully got in, and the moment she did, everyone stood up, watching her leave before getting into their own cars and following behind. Seeing them leave, Ziyu turned to them and said, "Let's go too!" Then he pulled Cixuan away, and the others followed. Only Weiyi remained where he was. Xi'er walked to his side, tugged at him, and said, "Brother Yi, what's wrong? They're gone, let's go too!" Hearing her voice, Wei Yi immediately snapped out of his daze, nodded to her, and left, leaving behind a group of bewildered students.
Wei Yi drove Xi'er home first, then drove to the residence of the four major families. Just as he reached the gate, he heard You Yun say, "It's so strange, no matter how I search, I can't find anything! It's like this person doesn't exist in the world." "How is that possible?" Everyone was startled by Wei Yi's sudden exclamation and then explained in detail. After listening, Wei Yi walked to the computer and sat down. Everyone gathered around him, but no matter how hard Wei Yi searched, he couldn't find her identity, which made everyone even more curious about her.
Wei Yi was the most skilled with computers among them; if even he couldn't find anything, it meant Bing's identity was extraordinary. Suddenly, an email arrived. Wei Yi and the others curiously opened it, and after seeing the contents, they were all shocked. (Don't even think about investigating my identity, or the consequences will be severe.) "It seems she knew we would investigate her identity all along; she is indeed not simple." "Zi Yu said calmly. "Well, we don't even know if she's friend or foe yet, so everyone should be careful when contacting her, understand?" Wei Yi said to everyone.
