My Youth:Chapter 5

   I turned around in surprise and saw a young woman in her early twenties. She was tall, with large, bright eyes, a delicate nose, and cherry-like lips. Wearing a light blue T-shirt and jeans, she exuded youthful energy.

  "Are you... the owner of that drink shop?" After racking my brain for a thousand pieces of information, I finally found something useful.
  "I didn't expect you to remember me!" she smiled, then asked Xia Meng behind me, "You bought drinks this morning, didn't you?"
  Xia Meng nodded, seemingly understanding, while I, on the other hand, understood. So those two drinks were from this young woman's shop. No wonder it felt familiar. But why would the owner be attending a photography exhibition instead of running a business?
  Seeing our puzzled expressions, the woman smiled and said, "Let's go sit in the drink shop, it's on me."
  We nodded in agreement.
  The young woman's drink shop was tucked away in a small corner not far away, decorated in a retro style with a touch of artistic flair. The tables and chairs were made of an unidentified brown wood. Bouquets of pink lilies adorned the tables in porcelain vases. The floor was covered in brown tiles resembling wood, and sunlight streamed in perfectly, creating a classic and warm atmosphere in the shop.
  A young woman brought us three cups of lemon tea. The lemon tea was sweet and sour, thoughtfully topped with ice, making it refreshing and cooling.
  There weren't many customers in the shop at the time. She also brought us a lemon tea, and the three of us began to chat.
  "You must be wondering why I'm not busy with the shop but at the photography exhibition, right?" she asked with a smile.
  I thought for a moment, exchanged a glance with Xia Meng, and answered with some certainty, "Is it because your entry was selected?"
  "Good eye!" she said. She then asked, "Can you guess which one it is?"
  I answered uncertainly, "If I had to guess, is it 'Lonely'?" The image of that autumn work flashed before my eyes; the girl in it resembled me, yet there were some differences.
  "Great! You guessed right!"
  "I don't know why, but I felt a sense of familiarity when I saw the girl in that painting, I can't quite explain it myself," I said.
  "Hehe, that's you!" She winked at me.
  "I knew it. But I don't think I've ever been to that maple forest, have I?" I looked at her, then suddenly realized, "I didn't expect you to be so good at editing photos, you almost fooled me, the 'model'."
  Xia Meng, standing beside me, also immediately understood and said, "Amazing. It's so realistic."
  She smiled and said, "It seems you two also like photography, no wonder you're interested in the photography exhibition."
  I smiled and didn't say anything. It turned out that on the rainy day, she had also happened to pass by the holly forest and took a picture of my back when I was in a bad mood. Although she changed some colors in post-processing, the thought that someone was with me on my sad afternoon made her smile even brighter.
  "When you're feeling down, think about what you have now, and don't dwell too much on what you've lost. Besides, what you've lost never truly belonged to you. We don't need to regret or feel sorry for it. Just do your best at something, and regardless of whether you succeed or fail, at least you've given yourself a satisfactory answer. Isn't that right?"
  The three of them smiled at each other.
  "Okay, let's go see the photography exhibition. See you sometime." She waved to us.
  "Of course," Xia Meng and I replied.
  Stepping out of the shop, the sunlight shone on me; the summer morning sun is always warm and pleasant.

My Youth:Chapter 4

   It was a weekend evening.

  I was sitting at my desk, organizing photos I'd taken a few days ago. My tutoring classes were on holiday, so I had some free time. I often went out for street photography with Xia Meng,
  which I enjoyed. On my computer, I was still struggling with the color tone of a picture when my phone rang again—it was Xia Meng.
  "What's up? Why are you calling me so late?" I asked.
  "Lu, do you know? There's a photography exhibition the day after tomorrow at the XX Building. Are you going?" Lin Lu excitedly told
  me. I chuckled, "Are you always busy investigating the news? Always jumping to conclusions?"
  "Of course not," she smiled. "So, are you going to the photography exhibition?"
  "Yes, I am. Seeing more masterpieces will definitely benefit my future photography. I don't want to take meaningless photos." "
  Okay, seven o'clock the day after tomorrow, see you at X Park."
  "No problem."
  The brief call ended. The
  next
  morning, I saw that radiant figure in the park, like a warm ray of sunshine. I pushed my bicycle and walked quickly towards her, but not far away I saw a somewhat surprising figure. I couldn't remember who it was for a moment, and my thoughts were interrupted by Xia Meng's pleasant voice.
  "Let's go." She said, handing me a cup of tea. "There's a nice cold drink shop nearby, bought two."
  "Thanks." I took the drink and replied.
  Xia Meng and I walked side by side on the tree-lined path, but I was absent-minded. My thoughts unexpectedly went blank, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remember. Who was it? I wondered.
  The exhibition hall wasn't too far, only a ten-minute walk. The building was tall, and the glass was all a bright, shimmering lake blue, quite characteristic of the city.
  I parked my bicycle and walked in with the enthusiastic Xia Meng, not noticing that a figure also entered behind us.
  The exhibition hall wasn't crowded, nor was it empty; it was very quiet. My gaze swept across the various photographs, and then, almost unconsciously, it settled on a picture in the corner.
  The work was titled "Loneliness." It depicted a maple forest in late autumn, a light drizzle falling, the maple leaves mostly withered yellow, fluttering down. The nameless wild grasses on the ground had turned from lush green to dark, growing in clumps. A slender girl walked along a path carpeted with fallen leaves, her hair flying, her white canvas shoes standing out, her blue and white checkered shirt loosely draped over her shoulders. She walked alone on this path of fallen leaves at the edge of the world. It was a poignant scene, a solitary traveler walking alone, only the rustling of the remaining leaves on the branches—a perfect blend of movement and stillness. Looking closer, I couldn't help but be surprised; the person in the picture... somewhat resembled me.
  Just then, someone gently patted my shoulder, and a sweet voice rang out: "Oh, you're here for the photography exhibition too?" In a daze, I suddenly realized that this was the same figure I couldn't remember...

My Youth:Chapter 3

   It was a girl with long, loose hair draped over her shoulders, bright, expressive eyes, and navy blue canvas shoes. A serene smile graced her face. Indeed, she was a rather likable girl, but she couldn't soothe my clouded mood; I couldn't feel happy.

  I turned my head, gazing at the new leaves among the trees, speechless.
  "Excuse me, classmate. Can we be friends?" The girl in green had stopped her car sometime earlier and asked me with a smile.
  "Of course," I replied casually.
  "You seem to be in a bad mood?"
  I didn't answer her; I knew there wasn't a trace of a smile on my face.
  "Shall we go for a walk? By the way, my name is Xia Meng, what's yours?"
  "Lin Lu. Let's go, where to?" I asked her.
  Xia Meng smiled, revealing a set of neat, white teeth. "How about a trip to the countryside?"
  "Okay."
  This was the beginning of my acquaintance with Xia Meng—unpretentious, simply a chance encounter by fate.
  This is a hidden green forest deep within the city. I admit, it's beautiful, far surpassing the glamour of shops; it possesses a tranquil beauty.
  I took out my phone and opened the viewfinder, a habitual action for someone who loves photography, despite being busy with studies.
  "Oh, you like photography too?" she asked, somewhat surprised.
  "Yeah, I quite like it," I replied casually.
  "I never expected to meet someone my age who loves photography. I had some friends who shared this hobby, but they gave it up because of pressure. You must be as passionate about photography as I am." "
  Yes, I love using the camera to showcase this vast world from a unique perspective, to let people believe that even a dandelion in the wild can bloom in the wind, that even a cactus has a fragile side, and that even an inconspicuous little corner is worth discovering its beauty. This is my original intention for loving photography. Even if someone tries to stop me, I will persevere, stay true to myself, and never forget my original aspiration. I hope that the photos I take are not only gorgeous, but also emotional, without any falsehood or pretense." I spoke at length, believing in myself and not needing to hide it from others, so why care about their disdain or ridicule?
  "Yes, that's good. You truly understand me." She was silent for a moment, then smiled at me and said, "It's just that many people have lost their true selves in the passage of time, but I hope we don't betray that initial commitment. No matter what happens, our true selves remain." Her face was as beautiful and fragrant as peach blossoms in March, surpassing the warm spring sun, surpassing the gloom in my heart, like a gentle spring breeze, refreshing my soul.
  "I will," I replied with a sincere smile.
  "Me too," Xia Meng smiled as well.
  With that, I raised my sky-blue phone, quietly treasuring this moment. Birds in the trees sang unknown songs, and the ripples on the lake gently rippled. At this moment, everything seemed less gloomy, because a ray of sunlight was gently streaming warm light through the window...
  The story continues...

My Youth:Chapter 2

   I found myself in a dimly lit room, surrounded by dozens of unfamiliar classmates. The teacher was writing formulas and grammar on the blackboard, densely packed. My eyes didn't want to linger on the dry, uninteresting text; I tried to ignore the repetitive voice.

  This was expected; because of my poor performance in the graduation exam, I was assigned to this cramped "classroom" to study. Time seemed to drag on endlessly in this small room. Where was the leisurely pace of life?
  My studies were like a cage, deeply imprisoning me, and the feeling was undoubtedly unpleasant. All around me were the sounds of pens scratching on paper and the lecture. I knew only that I was about to spend my last summer vacation in elementary school in confusion and oppression.
  "Ding-ling—" The familiar school bell rang again. I walked out of this oppressive room with a somber expression. The break was short, just a mere ten minutes, followed by an hour-long test. We had very little time of our own, truly very little. I didn't like it here, at least not now.
  A long afternoon.
  I hurried out of the so-called tutoring center, my blue and white checkered shirt fluttering in the wind. Seeing the azure sky again, I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief; today's tutoring was finally over. But a moment later, my face darkened again. These kinds of days would accompany me throughout the summer. In front of my parents, I didn't even have the right to object, all because of this small setback in the graduation exam.
  Today was a rare day; the tutoring center ended a little early, so I had some free time. However, I didn't want to use it to continue studying. Perhaps it was a silent protest against my parents and teachers, or perhaps it was simply my own yearning for freedom.
  A simple bicycle was parked by the roadside, my mode of transportation to and from school. Sky blue, elegant and understated, yet possessing a unique charm, it was in no way inferior to those vibrant colors in my eyes. I appreciated that understated elegance of sky blue. I
  got on my bike, my gaze fixed on the northwest direction; there, the holly grove was. Upon arriving here, gazing into the distance, I saw the same deep-seated verdant green, the same winding path. The only difference was that the inky rainy day had transformed into a rare clear blue sky, a beautiful light blue, which eased my mood somewhat.
  At that moment, a green figure riding a bicycle appeared amidst the dense holly forest, standing out harmoniously against the lush green backdrop.

My Youth:Chapter 1

   My youth belongs to me, and I should spend it savoring the bittersweet experiences of life. -- Prologue

  It was a gloomy day. A fine drizzle fell from the sky, and the clouds were thick, giving the impression that nothing could break through them. This was my least favorite kind of weather, but something else was even worse.
  I'm in sixth grade this year. I'm a girl, not pretty, and my only redeeming quality is my decent grades. In the eyes of my parents and teachers, I'm a top student; in the eyes of my peers, I'm the envy of them. I was expected to get into the best junior high school in the county, but the moment they received their results, it was as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over them—I only got into the most ordinary junior high school.
  Yes, I didn't get in. Even I found it hard to believe, but reality is always cruel. Actually, this junior high school isn't bad, but they felt it wasn't suitable for me. But I know I didn't let them down. I did my best; it's just that their standards were too high for me to reach.
  An hour and a half ago, lines of clear, black Song typeface shattered the tranquility. I couldn't bear the disappointed, even disapproving, looks, the sighs, so I chose to come here, in this continuous drizzle.
  This is a secluded path hidden in the woods, winding and meandering, but I like it very much. It seems isolated from the outside world; only I am here, without achievements, without worries, only the rustling of green leaves—the leaves of the holly trees.
  I like holly trees because I admire their resilience against the cold winter, their resilience against harsh environments, though I cannot achieve that. This admiration might be a kind of faith and envy.
  I stroll along, the light rain pattering, the wind blowing intermittently, the holly leaves rustling. My mood is terrible, a deep sadness mixed with resentment. My efforts have not yielded any reward, giving me an urge to run wildly. I desperately want to break free from the control of my studies, but I know it's just wishful thinking.
  My phone rang. It was time for me to go back to that cramped little room. I looked up at the gray sky, which seemed to reflect the sky in my heart. Where was that ray of bright dawn?

Chapter 147 Economic Crisis

   "Young Master Chengyu, Miss Bingtong has suddenly become terrifying." The maid shuddered, recalling Bingtong's earlier state.

  "What?" Upon hearing this, Chengyu and the others rushed home.
  "Grandpa, what happened to Tong'er?" Chengyu asked, running to his grandfather.
  "Go in and see for yourself!" Elder Qianxin said bitterly.
  "Tong'er," Chengyu called out, opening the door. But what he saw shocked him. He rushed to Bingtong's side, lifted the unconscious girl from the floor, and gently placed her on the bed. "Grandpa, come quickly!" Chengyu called out towards the door.
  "What happened?" Elder Qianxin asked, entering the room. But seeing Bingtong lying on the bed, he called behind him, "Bring the doctor in." Then he went to the bedside and looked at his granddaughter.
  A moment later, Cheng Yu looked at the doctor and asked, "How is my sister?"
  "Young Master, I can't figure out what's wrong with Miss Bing Tong either," the doctor said, looking embarrassed. He had treated so many patients over the years, but he still couldn't figure out what was wrong with Bing Tong.
  "How could that be?" Cheng Yu said in disbelief. "To find out what illness Miss Bing Tong has, we need to find the world's most renowned genius doctor, Ailly," the doctor said. "Tong'er is Ailly," Cheng Yu stated casually.
  "What?" the doctor exclaimed, then looked at Bing Tong on the bed. He never imagined that the girl on the bed was the famous Ailly in the medical world.
  "Let's go out first! Let's talk about it when Tong'er wakes up!" Elder Qian Xin said.
  "Yes. Bring Tong'er to see us when she wakes up," Elder Yu Mo instructed.
  "Let's go out!" Elder Ling Ye said.
  Then the group left.
  ~~~~~~~~~~So frustrating!!! " Oh no!"
  Puppet
  , sitting on the sofa, suddenly exclaimed. "What's wrong?" Ming asked, puzzled. "Pfft!" Puppet glanced at him, then spat out a mouthful of blood. "The princess is in trouble," Puppet said, wiping the blood from his mouth. "How did you know?" Ming asked. "Puppet made a blood pact with Bing'er since childhood. Whenever Bing'er suffers any harm, Puppet can sense it," Han Yin explained.
  "Then what should we do now?" Ming asked. "Do nothing." Suddenly, a voice came from outside. Everyone looked and saw Soul, dressed in black. "I remember you, you're the one named Soul who was with Bing'er, right?" Ming suddenly realized that he was the one who followed Bing Tong that day.
  "Yes. I came here to tell you not to act rashly. I have already used the company to suppress the economy of the four major families. Next, we should observe the situation," Soul said calmly. "Who told you to do this?" Puppet stood up and asked. "The princess told me this when she left," Soul said, sitting down on the sofa.
  "The four great families should realize it soon. Don't worry." Seeing their anxious expressions, Soul continued. "Alright, we'll trust you for now," Puppet said, then walked out of the castle.
  ~~~~~~~~~~~Please support! ~~~~~~~~
  "Miss, are you awake? The four elders asked me to take you to see them." The maid said, looking at the person sitting by the bed. Bing Tong slowly raised her head to look at her, then nodded. She followed her out.
  "Elders, Miss Bing Tong has woken up." The maid stood in front of the four elders and said, then stepped aside. "What do you want with me?" Bing Tong asked, sitting down on the sofa next to her without any politeness. "Tong'er, what illness do you have?" Elder Yu Mo asked bluntly. "Me? What illness could I have? What a joke." Bing Tong laughed and said.
  "Then why were you like that before?" Elder Yu Mo asked the question on everyone's mind. "Heh! You have no right to interfere in my affairs." Bing Tong said disdainfully. "You..." Elder Yu Mo wanted to say something more, but stopped speaking when he saw the newcomer.
  "What is it?" Elder Yu Mo asked, looking at the newcomer. "Elder Yu Mo, the four great families' economies have suffered a severe blow," the newcomer said. "What? How could this happen?" Elder Yu Mo stood up and asked. "If you want to ask him, you might as well ask me," Bing Tong spoke first before the newcomer could finish speaking.
  "You? What did you do?" Elder Yu Mo asked Bing Tong with wide eyes.

Chapter 146 Madness

   "Ugh... Where am I?" Bing Tong slowly opened her eyes, only to find herself in a room she wasn't in. Having practiced martial arts since childhood, Bing Tong immediately sensed something was wrong. She got out of bed and looked around the room. Suddenly, she remembered that this was her room in one of the four great families. She remembered fainting at 'Ice and Snow Romance,' so how did she end up here?

  Bing Tong slowly walked to the door and tried to turn the handle. But the door seemed locked; no matter how hard she turned, she couldn't open it.
  "Someone come here!" Unable to open the door, Bing Tong simply called out.
  "Miss, are you awake? What would you like to eat? I'll have someone prepare it." Sure enough, a group of people were guarding the door. The head servant said.
  "Open the door, I want to go out," Bing Tong said angrily.
  "I'm sorry, Miss. The four elders have ordered that you cannot go out before you and Young Master Zi Yu are married," the servant said.
  "You bunch of bastards. Go and find them, I want to see them," Bing Tong said.
  "Yes, please wait a moment, Miss, I'll go call her right away," the maid said.
  "Elders, Miss is awake," a maid said, standing before the four elders.
  "What did she say?" Elder Yu Mo asked.
  "Miss wants to see you," the maid said, bowing her head.
  "Go tell her we have nothing to say. Whatever she wants, bring it to her."
  "Yes." With that, the maid went upstairs.
  "Miss, the elders say they have nothing to say to you," Bing Tong said, sitting in a chair, listening to the people outside.   "
  Get out of here!" Bing Tong roared. She grabbed a cup from the side and threw it against the door. A loud 'thud' echoed from the door. The cup shattered on the floor.   "Why, why did you betray me?" Bing Tong sat on the floor, resting her head on her knees. Tears dripped onto the carpet.   {Little Princess, I will always protect you.} "   Little Prince, you must live well."   "Little Prince, if there is an afterlife, I must be with you."   "Xiu, what should I do? Tell me!" Bing Tong looked up at the air in front of her and said.   "Ah!!!!" Suddenly, Bing Tong screamed. She tightly hugged her head with both hands. "No!!!!!" Bing Tong roared. Upon closer inspection, you could see that Bing Tong's eyes had turned blue.   "Miss, Miss, what's wrong?" The maid heard Bing Tong's scream and pounded on the door, asking loudly.   "Quickly, go report to the elders." The head maid said to the people next to her.   "Elders, Miss Bing Tong, she..." The maid stood in front of the four elders and said nervously.   "What happened to Tong'er?" Elder Qian Xin said nervously. After all, she was her granddaughter.   "Let's go see her quickly." Elder Yu Mo stood up and looked at them, then turned and went upstairs. The others followed closely behind.   "Open the door." Elder Yu Mo ordered.   "Get out! All of you, get out!" Bing Tong roared as the four elders entered from outside.   "Tong'er, what's wrong?" Elder Qian Xin asked worriedly.   "Get out of here, all of you! Get out!!!" Bing Tong seemed to have gone mad, grabbing things and throwing them around.   "Let's go out first!" Elder Min Yan said hastily, knowing Bing Tong was in great danger.   "Get a doctor." Elder Yu Mo said.   "Yes." The servant quickly ran out.   "We'll wait outside now." Elder Yu Mo said to everyone.   "Okay." Everyone closed the door and slowly retreated outside.   "What happened?" Yong Yu and Zi Yu were chatting outside when they suddenly caught sight of a servant leading a doctor towards Qian Xin's house. They knew something serious had happened and ran over to stop the servant, asking.

Chapter 145 Imprisonment

   "What?" The crowd gasped in surprise.

  "Bang!!!" Suddenly, the sound of a bowl shattering rang out. Everyone looked over and saw Ta You standing blankly not far away, staring at them. "Ta," Han Yin called softly. He knew Ta You must have heard what they had just said.
  "What did you say? What happened to Sister Bing?" Ta You, ignoring the broken pieces on the ground, rushed to Kui's side and asked. "The princess has been captured by the four great families," Kui said, somewhat annoyed. "How could this happen? Isn't Sister Bing the best?" Ta You asked, puzzled.
  "Those despicable people. I think you don't know, but once something the princess has forgotten is brought up again, her mind becomes very chaotic. I think the four great families must have unintentionally brought up the incident of the princess being kissed last time. That's why they were able to capture her so easily," Kui explained, frowning.
  "How can we save Sister Bing?" Ta You asked worriedly.
  "Actually, I didn't tell you. The princess anticipated their actions when she left. She said that if she were in any danger, we should not panic. We should wait for her orders. She would let us know if there was any news," Kui said.
  "Since Bing'er said so, we shouldn't worry too much. Let's wait quietly for news," Han Yin said, looking at them.
  "Yes. That's all we can do now," Ming said in a deep voice.
  "Ta, don't worry too much, everything will be alright," Han Yin said, looking at Ta You. Ta You glanced at them silently, then turned and went upstairs.
  The others exchanged glances. Sigh! Ta You was even angrier. ...
  ~~~~~~Please comment! ~~~~~~ "Has Miss Bing Tong woken up?"
  Elder
  Yu Mo asked the servant beside him.
  "Miss is still unconscious," the servant answered honestly.
  "You continue to watch over her. Report back when she wakes up," Elder Yu Mo said sternly.
  "Yes," the servant nodded and went upstairs.
  "Grandpa, isn't it a bit inappropriate to keep Tong'er under control?" Yongyu asked his grandfather. She was, after all, his sister! He was naturally heartbroken.
  "Tong'er is quite stubborn. If we don't do this, our family's reputation will be ruined," Elder Qianxin said to Yongyu. Although she was his granddaughter, he had no choice but to do this for the sake of the entire family!
  Seeing his grandfather say this, Yongyu didn't know what to say. He desperately wanted to save his sister, but he was powerless. Yongyu smiled bitterly, then stood up and walked out.
  "Grandpa, Tong'er will definitely not agree to this," Youyun said to his grandfather.
  "Whether she agrees or not, we must do this. Starting today, increase the number of people stationed outside Miss Bingtong's room. Restrict all her movements. Wherever she goes, someone must follow her. Until the wedding," Elder Lingye said solemnly.
  "Youyun, don't say anything more. Tong'er is married, so you can marry Yinglin too, right? It's no use saying anything now," Elder Minyan said hastily when he saw Youyun still wanting to say something.
  Hearing them say this, Youyun didn't know what to say. After all, they were right; only after Bingtong got married could he marry Yinglin, right? After thinking for a moment, Youyun stood up, took Yinglin's hand, and walked out.
  Now only Cixuan and Ziyu remained. Cixuan looked at her grandfather, then at Ziyu beside her. She stood up, turned, and left.
  "Grandpa, I'll be going now too," Ziyu said, standing up and looking at them.
  "Ziyu, when you have free time, go see Tong'er and let the two of you nurture your relationship," Elder Yumo said, looking at her grandson.
  "Yes, Grandpa, I understand," Ziyu said, turning and leaving. "
  Hmm
  ...where am I?" Bing Tong slowly opened her eyes, only to find herself in a room she wasn't in. Having practiced martial arts since childhood, Bing Tong immediately sensed something was wrong. She got out of bed and looked around the room. Suddenly, she remembered that this was her room in one of the four great families. She remembered fainting at 'Ice and Snow Romance,' so how did she end up here?
Chapter 144 Ice Eyes Captured
   "Lord Yin, Her Highness the Princess said she has something to do. She told you not to worry," the servant replied truthfully.
  "What?" Han Yin said in surprise. 'Bing'er really went,' Han Yin thought calmly.
  "What's wrong?" Ming came down from upstairs at this moment. "Why are you yelling so early in the morning? What's wrong?!" Ming asked, walking up to him. "Bing'er went to see Lan Yinglin," Han Yin said. "What?" Ming shouted loudly, just like Han Yin. Han Yin couldn't help but sigh, "You're just like me!
  " "Why are you yelling?" Kui walked in from outside the castle and said. Then he slowly walked
  to the sofa and sat down. Han Yin and Ming exchanged a glance and both shut their mouths. Kui wasn't worried, so why were they worrying? The two then sat down on the sofa.
  Soon after, Ta You also came downstairs. Unlike usual, Ta You was unusually quiet today. From coming downstairs until now, she hadn't said a word. This made everyone a little worried.
  ~~~~~Add Chong'er's QQ! " Bing'er
  , you've arrived," Yinglin said, looking at the person in front of her. But Bingtong ignored her, pulling out a chair and sitting down.
  "Speak! What do you want?" Bingtong said coldly.
  "Bing'er, must we really have to do this?" Yinglin looked at Bingtong with some heartache.
  "Say what you want quickly, I have many things to do," Bingtong said, her tone still cold.
  "Actually, it wasn't me who called you, it was them," Yinglin said, standing up.
  "Who?" Seeing Yinglin's expression, Bingtong knew it couldn't be anything good. She looked in Yinglin's direction and saw—the elders of the four major families, as well as Lingye and Youyun.
  "Did you call me here just for this?" Bingtong said sarcastically.
  "Bing'er, the four elders have something to tell you," Yinglin said, walking over to Youyun's side.
  "What do you want from me?" Bingtong asked coldly.
  "We've called you here to tell you that we've decided on a marriage alliance between the Yu Mo family and the Qian Xin family," Elder Yu Mo said, looking at Bing Tong.
  "Is that so? So what?" Bing Tong said sarcastically. Did they think she'd compromise just because of this?
  "Take a look at this," Elder Ling Ye said, taking two newspapers from behind him and placing them in front of Bing Tong.
  Bing Tong took the newspapers with a puzzled expression. After seeing the pictures, Bing Tong was stunned. 'Kissing?' When did this happen? Why couldn't she remember?
  "You must have seen the pictures! The news of you and Zi Yu kissing has spread throughout the internet, so a marriage alliance between you and the Yu Mo family is the best thing that could happen," Elder Ling Ye said.
  "When did this happen? Why don't I remember? These photos are photoshopped!" Bing Tong slammed the newspapers on the table.
  "Have you forgotten? Wasn't this the day before yesterday? Right after school ended? How could it be photoshopped!" Elder Min Yan said.
  "After school?" Bing Tong said.
  {I'm not worthy, are I? Then I'll show you whether I'm worthy or not?} {
  No, ugh...}
  Those memories flooded Bing Tong's mind all at once.
  "Pfft!" Suddenly, Bing Tong coughed up blood and fainted.
  "Bing'er." Ying Lin rushed to Bing Tong's side and caught her.
  "Take her back to the four great families first and keep her under strict guard," Elder Yu Mo said. Immediately, a person dressed in black walked up to Ying Lin, took Bing Tong from her arms, and turned to leave. This person in the black suit never imagined that just because he held Bing Tong, he would be doomed.
  "Grandpa, is this really the right thing to do?" Zi Yu walked up to Elder Yu Mo and asked.
  "It's alright. If we don't do this, the marriage alliance of the four great families, which happens once every 50 years, cannot continue," Elder Yu Mo said, frowning. Actually, he didn't want to do this either.
  "Alright, let's go back first!" Elder Qian Xin said. From beginning to end, he didn't say anything because he didn't know what to say. After all, that was his granddaughter!
  ~~~~~~Please comment! !! !! ~~~~~~
  The person hiding in the shadows hurriedly dialed a phone after seeing these people leave.
  "Damn it!" Puppet, sitting in the castle, said angrily.
  "What's wrong?" Han Yin asked, puzzled.
  "The princess has been captured," Puppet said, frowning.
  "What?" This was met with gasps of surprise from everyone.
My Youth:Chapter 8
    Time flies in Lhasa. Before I knew it, the morning had flown by. It was a clear, sunny afternoon, and Chen Yueran and I strolled through...
