“Bing’er, you can speak, right? If that’s the case, then why have you kept it from us all this time? And what is your true identity?” Hearing his questioning, Bing Tong turned and glanced at him before helping Ying Lin slowly walk towards the school gate. Seeing her about to leave, Wei Yi ignored Xi’er and prepared to chase after her. Suddenly, two people walked out from both sides. These two followed behind Bing Tong. Wei Yi stopped when he saw them. Judging from their appearance, they were definitely not ordinary people. So Wei Yi could only watch Bing Tong and the others disappear from his sight. Yong Yu walked to Wei Yi’s side and said, “It’s okay, they’ll come to school again tomorrow. We can ask them then.” Wei Yi glanced at him, then nodded, turned and walked to Xi’er’s side, picking her up and taking her to the infirmary. Everyone returned to the classroom to continue their lessons.
At this time, Bing Tong returned to the castle with Ying Lin. She instructed the servants to treat Ying Lin’s injuries, while she went upstairs, forbidding anyone from disturbing her. Yinglin watched her slowly walk upstairs, opening her mouth but remaining silent. After Bingtong disappeared from her sight, Yinglin lowered her head, watching the maid treat her wounds.Bingtong went upstairs to her room. She took off her hat, went into the bathroom, and took a shower. Then, looking at herself in the mirror, her hand unconsciously touched the rose mark on her face. Then she smiled, a smile that seemed somewhat tragic. This mark, perhaps, would reveal their identity. Bingtong thought to herself. Then she wrapped herself in a towel and left. She sat on the bed, picked up her laptop, and quickly typed on it. After a long while, perhaps finished, Bingtong put the laptop aside and lay down on the bed.
Night fell...
Bingtong lay on the bed, moonlight shining through the glass onto her face. Suddenly, Bingtong opened her eyes, slowly sat up, found some clothes in the closet, put them on, and then found a hat to wear. She never needed to wear a hat in this castle before, but now that Yinglin was here, she had to wear one. Even Yinglin wasn't qualified to see her true face.
Going downstairs, she saw Yinglin sitting quietly on the sofa. Bingtong walked over to her and said, "Let's go eat!" Yinglin seemed not to hear Bingtong; she was still staring blankly ahead. A maid called to Yinglin a few times, and Yinglin suddenly snapped out of her reverie, asking, "What is it?" The maid said, "Miss Lan, Miss Bing wants you to eat." Hearing this, Yinglin suddenly saw Bingtong standing in front of her, and she stood up and said to Bingtong, "Bing'er, let's go eat!" Bingtong nodded and took her hand, leading her to the dining table. She knew Yinglin was still blaming herself.
Reaching the table, Bingtong sat down first. Yinglin followed. The maids brought out dinner. Bingtong ate quietly, while Yinglin had no appetite. "Bing'er, you finally spoke! I'm so happy. Forgive me for not protecting you." Bing Tong, who was eating, suddenly heard Ying Lin say to her. Bing Tong then stopped eating. She took a handkerchief from the maid and wiped the soup residue from the corner of her mouth, then handed a note to Ying Lin before turning and continuing upstairs. The note read: "Ying'er, I don't blame you. I know it wasn't your fault. Don't blame yourself. Cheer up. I'll handle the rest; you don't need to worry."
