Chapter 14 Dilemma

“Hmm.” Youyun nodded. Now, Youyun was also starting to wonder about their identities.

Bingtong and Yinglin had already returned to the castle. The two were sitting on the sofa in the hall. Bingtong was holding a laptop, her fingers flying across the keyboard, while Yinglin sat quietly beside her, watching. Suddenly, Yinglin exclaimed, “What?! They’re actually the leaders of the Blood Burial Gang!” It turned out that Bingtong was using the laptop to research the leader of the Blood Burial Gang, the world’s third-largest gang. Since returning from 'Angel’s Tears,' Bingtong had felt something was strange: why was Youyun so angry when that thug said he was the leader of the Blood Burial Gang? And 'Angel’s Tears' was a den of iniquity; how could they have gotten in? (Just as they thought!) So Bingtong decided to research them. But she hadn’t expected them to be the leaders of the world’s third-largest gang.
Yinglin asked Bingtong, "Bing'er, what do we do now?" Actually, Yinglin had another purpose for coming here: to find out who the leader of the world's third-largest gang was and then wipe them out in one fell swoop. She was surprised when she first received this mission; why would Bingtong ask her to kill her brother? But it was an order, and Yinglin accepted. But now… Bingtong then wrote a few words on a piece of paper and handed it to Yinglin before going upstairs. (Take it one step at a time. As long as they don't harm us, we'll put this matter aside for now.) Yinglin looked at the note, smiled, and went upstairs.
'Sigh! How could this happen!' Bingtong lay in bed thinking. No matter what, her brother was among those people; she couldn't possibly kill her own brother for the greater good! And there was also 'his' sister; what was she supposed to do?! Bingtong tossed and turned, unable to sleep. So, she picked up her laptop and started dealing with some company matters. Bing Tong owns a company called 'cherryleisureFavourite', which wields immense influence worldwide. Bing Tong spent the entire night handling company affairs, while Ying Lin slept soundly, a smile playing on her lips, relieved that she no longer needed to deal with You Yun and the others. Ying Lin herself couldn't understand why she was so happy.
Meanwhile, Wei Yi and the others had all returned to the residence of the four great families. Wei Yi, holding a cup of coffee, teased You Yun, "Drinking coffee so late at night, aren't you going to sleep?" Wei Yi replied, "Just a habit." "By the way, Yun, have you figured out how to pursue Ying Lin?" Yong Yu asked, looking at You Yun. You Yun shook his head; he simply couldn't bring himself to lie to her. "It's simple! Find someone to kidnap her, then you rescue her and confess your feelings," Xi'er said innocently. "You've been reading too many novels!" Wei Yi lightly patted her head. “But maybe this will work!” Yongyu said confidently. “Then who will play the kidnapper?” Xi’er asked. “That’s easy, just get a few people from the Blood Burial Gang.” Yongyu answered her question. Youyun watched them from the side, feeling extremely guilty. Suddenly, Ziyu asked, “Yu, when is your sister coming back?” Hearing Ziyu’s words, Weiyi also looked at Yongyu. “Huh? Yu, you have a sister!” Xi’er asked. Even Minyan Cixuan, who had been silent, looked at Yongyu. Yongyu replied, “I don’t know when she’ll come back, but she said she’d come back when she’s 18. We’ve tried to contact her, but we can’t reach her.” As she spoke, Yongyu sadly lowered her head. “Didn’t she also say she’d come back when she’s 18? So don’t worry.” Youyun comforted her. 'Sigh!' "Tong'er, when will you come back? I said I would always cherish you, but I can't keep my promise. I'm getting engaged soon. Will you blame me?" Wei Yi thought. Then he added, "Well, our current task is to investigate Bing and the others' identities." This seemed to be directed at You Yun. You Yun understood, so he nodded and said to them, "Then I'll go rest first." After saying this, he left. Everyone knew his dilemma, but for safety's sake, they had to sacrifice him. Afterwards, everyone went to rest.
